Samsung Galaxy S10’s triple-camera setup Details here

While the midrange Galaxy A7 (2018) is the first Samsung device to pack triple cameras, the South Korean giant has more in store with Samsung Galaxy S10 that will pack an ultra-wide, a regular and a telephoto lens. The earlier leaked specs doesn’t detail about Galaxy S10 camera specs, but the new leaked table purports to reveal all about triple-camera setup.

Coming to the optics, Samsung Galaxy S10 main camera seems unaltered with a 12MP sensor (1.4µm pixels) and a dual aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4) and support 78-degree wide-angle images and support optical image stabilization. The telecamera arrives with 13MP with1 micron pixel size, 45-degree field of view, f/2.4 aperture compared to Galaxy S9+’s 12MP and both have OIS like before.

The new addition is 16-megapixel sensor, which will act as an ultra-wide angle shooter capable of capturing images that comes with 123° field of view, a 12mm lens (in 35mm equivalent). So the ultra wide lens will have higher resolution than the Asus Zenfone 5z (12mm lens, 8MP sensor) and is wider than the LG G7 ThinQ (16mm).

It is likely that Samsung Galaxy S10 will be launched at MWC 2018 next year with three different screen sizes this year, with different camera setups and different fingerprint readers. The higher-end models gets the triple-camera setup.
